I'm originally from Alicante, Spain, but I've lived in Poland for more than half my life, having arrived during the country's huge transformation after the communist era. This period of intense change gave me a direct look into Poland’s recent evolution. After a career in advertising design, I decided to turn my deep interest in history into a full-time pursuit, and I’ve been guiding with Walkative! since 2018. I enjoy helping visitors understand not just historical events, but also how those moments continue to shape the identity of Warsaw and its people today.
I find Warsaw’s complex past endlessly compelling, particularly the history of its Jewish community and the story of the WWII-era ghetto. I also think the story of the Old Town is essential, as it’s a powerful testament to the city's resilience after being almost completely destroyed and then rebuilt. Another area I enjoy sharing is the Praga district, one of the few places where the atmosphere of pre-war Warsaw survives. When I’m not guiding, I spend much of my time reading more about European and Polish history, always looking to bring more context to my tours.
