Hola travelers! Welcome to beautiful Barcelona in November 2026. The summer crowds have finally packed up, the Mediterranean air is wonderfully crisp, and the city is settling into a super cozy, relaxed rhythm. It's the perfect time to grab a light sweater, order a café con leche, and wander the streets like a local!

Before we dive into the fun stuff, we want to give you a quick heads-up on a couple of important dates to help you plan your days. First off, most of the city will be closed on the 1st of November as it's All Souls' Day. It's a quiet holiday here, so be prepared for shops, markets, and many restaurants to shut their doors for the day-it’s a great opportunity to plan a peaceful stroll along the beach or pack a picnic instead! Additionally, please note that on the 11th of November there is a general strike taking place. This will likely affect opening times and cause disruptions to public transport across the city, so you'll want to plan ahead, allow for extra travel time, or maybe stick to exploring your immediate neighborhood on foot that day.

Speaking of exploring, there is so much to look forward to this month! If you're a foodie, you absolutely cannot miss Tapantoni Autumn 2026. This beloved local festival takes over the vibrant Sant Antoni neighborhood, offering incredible tapas and drink combinations at fantastic prices. It’s the ultimate way to mingle with the locals and taste the true, mouth-watering flavors of Catalonia.

If you want to keep the culinary party going, you should definitely join The Barcelona Tapas Crawl. It's a fantastic way to hop from bar to bar, savoring the best Catalan cuisine in a fun, laid-back atmosphere with fellow food lovers and social butterflies. Looking to walk off all those delicious bites? Come stretch your legs on our Welcome to Barcelona: Old Town and Modernism tour, where you'll be enchanted by the stunning contrast between the historic, winding streets of the Gothic Quarter and the elegant, orderly Eixample district.

Stay cozy, eat plenty of patatas bravas, and have an absolutely fantastic November in Barcelona! To discover even more of what this amazing city has to offer, check out our Walkative! tours.
