Krakow Beer Tour

Our craft beer tour is sure to impress; it’s an experience that includes a visit to a microbrewery to learn about the entire brewing process. We’ll then move on to a tasting of six different beers at three different venues. The world of craft beer is full of stories, recipes and countless anecdotes, and we offer an alternative option for those who wish to take part without the tasting.

The beer tour is missing one piece: you!

Yeah, yeah, maybe it’s not the best poem, but it’s not the first one written about beer, since for thousands of years, it has been a daily companion in many cultures around the world.

For centuries, in Poland, beer was so important that even the word for cellar—piwnica—means “beer place.”

Polish tradition is no exception. For centuries, beer was so important that it’s still reflected in the language - the Polish word for cellar literally means “beer place.”

Today, the common perception is that Poland is a country of vodka; there are reasons behind that image, and everything is explained during the craft beer tour! / craft beer?

We’ve put together a route for you that takes in three different spots:

  • We’ll start with a visit to a brewpub—a bar that brews its own beer in the cellar
  • We’ll sample different beer styles, including the only Polish style that has survived to this day!
  • We’ll talk about the history of beer from its beginnings to the modern Craft Revolution.

After the tour, not only will you have a better understanding of the world of beer, but you’ll know more about Polish beer than the Poles themselves!
