Hello, I am Lima. Although I was born in Afghanistan and migrated with my family, I grew up going to school and studying here, and I consider myself a local of Munich. During the week, I work as a full-time teacher, instructing teenagers and young adults in history, cultural and political science, and English. I have been leading weekend walking tours with Walkative! since 2023, as it gives me a chance to share my historical background outside of a traditional classroom setting.

When guiding through the old town, I most enjoy discussing the noble and royal families that resided in Munich throughout history. I like to walk groups past the historic churches and city halls, often tracing a route from St. Peter's Church down to the main square. These two-and-a-half-hour walks are a practical way to connect the political and cultural science concepts I teach to the physical streets of the city. Outside of my weekend tours, my daily life revolves around my students and my work in the Munich education system.
