I’m originally from South Africa and never imagined I’d one day be guiding tours in Paris, but life has a funny way of taking you on unexpected journeys. After moving to France in 2015, I learned that experiencing a country is very different from truly living in it. I started guiding in 2018, and what I love most is helping people connect with the stories and hidden corners of the city beyond the famous landmarks. A great tour should feel like a conversation, which is why I've enjoyed guiding with Walkative! since 2023.

My goal is to help you experience Paris in a way that feels real, focusing on the details and stories that bring its history to life. I enjoy good conversations, unexpected questions, and even the occasional terrible joke. My varied background—from my South African roots to a past job at a crocodile sanctuary—has given me a unique perspective on staying calm, even in the Paris crowds. Though I now live in the beautiful Loire Valley, I still regularly return to guide in the city I’ve come to know so well.
